Changelog

Let users see what changed instead of digging through git commits.

Case Study

Before

Users of portfolio tools had no way to know what changed between versions. Release notes were buried in git commits or missing entirely, leading to confusion about new features and breaking changes.

After

Provided transparency into development velocity and changes. Users can subscribe to updates for specific projects instead of asking what changed.

How it's solved

Built a public changelog that aggregates release notes across all portfolio projects into a unified timeline. Each entry includes version number, change type (feature, fix, improvement), affected projects, and links to relevant commits.

Trade-offs

Entries are written manually after each release — nothing auto-generates them from commit history yet.
