Book Reviews
Share a structured book review instead of a scattered Goodreads note.
Book recommendations lived across social posts and personal notes with no structured way to share what a book was actually good for.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Book recommendations from friends and blogs were scattered across social media, Goodreads, and personal notes. Needed a structured way to review and share book insights with the portfolio audience.
After
Created a curated book discovery resource that drives cross-traffic between the portfolio and reading community. Structured reviews help visitors decide which books match their needs without reading full summaries.
How it's solved
Built a book review platform with star ratings, structured critiques (what I liked, what I didn't, who it's for), reading status tracking, and genre tagging. Reviews are rendered as MDX for rich formatting with embedded quotes and highlights.
Trade-offs
Reviews reflect one reader's take — there's no multi-reviewer or community rating layer.
