Journal
Keep a daily reflection habit separate from polished blog writing.
Daily reflections and idea sketches had no home that wasn't either a public blog post or a private notes app.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Reflective writing and daily learnings had no dedicated space. Blog posts were for polished content, but daily reflections, lessons learned, and idea sketches needed a more informal, private-first outlet.
After
Established a consistent daily reflection habit. The journal serves as a raw idea incubator — many blog posts and project concepts originate as journal entries before being refined into public content.
How it's solved
Built a personal journal app with daily entry prompts, markdown support, mood tracking, and optional public sharing. Entries are timestamped and searchable. Privacy controls let me keep entries private or publish select ones.
Trade-offs
Entries are stored per-device — there's no cross-device sync for a journal started on one machine.
