JSON Converter
Format, validate, and convert JSON without four separate browser tabs.
Formatting and converting JSON between YAML and CSV meant juggling several single-purpose tools across different sites.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Working with JSON APIs often requires quick formatting, validation, and conversion between formats (JSON ↔ YAML ↔ CSV) — existing tools were fragmented across multiple sites.
After
Consolidated 4+ separate tools into one fast, unified interface. Became the most-used developer tool in the portfolio with daily active usage.
How it's solved
Built an all-in-one JSON workspace with syntax highlighting, real-time validation, tree view exploration, and bidirectional conversion to YAML, CSV, and XML. Added minify/beautify toggles and copy-to-clipboard shortcuts.
Trade-offs
Conversion between JSON, YAML, and CSV is lossy for deeply nested structures that don't map cleanly to a flat format.
