Guestbook
Let a visitor say hello without the weight of a formal contact form.
Visitors had no lightweight way to leave feedback — a contact form felt too formal and social media too public.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Portfolio visitors had no lightweight way to leave feedback or say hello. Contact forms were too formal, and social media required following/DMing.
After
Added a personal touch to the portfolio that encourages visitor interaction. The guestbook creates social proof — seeing others have visited and left positive messages builds trust.
How it's solved
Built a simple guestbook where visitors can leave short messages with their name and optional website link. Messages are moderated before display. Includes a message count and recent entries widget.
Trade-offs
Messages are moderated before showing, so there's a delay between leaving a message and seeing it live.
