Reminders
Get a browser reminder without creating an account first.
Reminder apps were mobile-only or gated behind sign-up, adding friction to something as simple as a timed alert.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Existing reminder apps were either mobile-only or required account creation. Needed a web-based reminder system that worked across devices without sign-up friction.
After
Delivered a cross-device reminder system that works without accounts. Browser notifications provide timely alerts without installing additional apps, reducing missed deadlines.
How it's solved
Built a reminder app with browser notifications, recurring reminders, snooze functionality, and priority levels. Uses the Notification API for native browser alerts and IndexedDB for persistent storage.
Trade-offs
Browser notifications only fire reliably while the browser has been opened at least once — no true background push.
