Pomodoro Timer
Start a focus session without installing an app or making an account.
Pomodoro timers were either native apps or web tools bloated with sign-up flows just to start a 25-minute timer.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Existing Pomodoro timers were either native apps or bloated web apps with accounts. Needed a lightweight, customizable focus timer that worked in the browser.
After
Created a distraction-free focus tool that loads in under 1 second. Session history helps track daily productivity patterns without requiring sign-up.
How it's solved
Built a minimal Pomodoro timer with customizable work/break durations, session history, browser notifications, and optional ambient sounds. Used Web Audio API for notifications and Service Workers for background timing.
Trade-offs
Session history resets if local storage is cleared — no account-based backup.
