LINE Rich Menu
Design a LINE rich menu visually instead of calculating tap-area pixels by hand.
LINE rich menus needed pixel-precise tap areas, and doing that math manually in Photoshop was slow and error-prone.
A public deployment is available to try.
Case Study
Before
Designing LINE messaging app rich menus required precise pixel alignment for tap areas and image slices. Manual design in Photoshop was error-prone and time-consuming.
After
Turned rich menu creation from a slow, manual pixel-math exercise into a few minutes of dragging tap areas. The visual editor eliminates coordinate calculation errors and the export matches LINE's API requirements exactly.
How it's solved
Built a visual rich menu designer with drag-to-define tap areas, real-time preview on a phone mockup, automatic image slicing, and JSON config export matching LINE's API format.
Trade-offs
Exports match LINE's rich menu format, but it doesn't validate against LINE's own file-size or image limits before export.
